Live on ROBLOX!
Play Rage Fighters, our inaugural game where you fight through emotional chaos, master your rage, and evolve into an unstoppable force.
Rage Fighters is a melee fighting game on Roblox that brings the world of our animated film, Release the Beast, into playable form. The game is presented as Aaron's own creation—built by the film's protagonist to process the emotional storm inside him.
Boys who watched early screenings of Release the Beast inspired both the genre and the design. When asked what the film was about, they immediately named the emotions: anger, fear, shame, frustration. When asked what game they wanted? A fighter.
Gameplay weaves combat with coping. Players battle through the EmoDojo, Rage Storm, and Toxic Zone—confronting enemies that represent inner critics and emotional overwhelm. Throughout, they unlock four core skills that work as both game mechanics and real emotional tools:
Pause — Force field & teleport to safety
Breathe — Restore health & calm the chaos
Cool Down — Environmental combat advantages
Connect — Make meaningful bonds through play
Hidden notebook pages reveal Aaron's design thinking—showing how he folded real emotional skills into the game, bridging the fight on screen with the one inside.
The project was made possible by the Caring Masculinities Fund, a fund led by Gary Barker, CEO of Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice, to support organizations worldwide in engaging men and boys to advance gender equality. Equimundo also provided visibility and strategic guidance.
